HOEPM draws a clear difference between fanaticism and true worship (John 4: 23, 24). The Church teaches the importance of daily living and overcoming Christian life, the entire scriptures are the only rule for our standard of conduct, form of discipline and pattern of good work. (2 Timothy 3:16,17)

The Church Believes

a. That the Holy Bible, consisting of 39 books of the old testament and 27 books of the New Testament, is the inspired word of God. We take the Bible as the final authority in all matters concerning Christian conduct and work. (2 Timothy 3:16; Proverbs 30:5,6 ; Revelation 22:18,19).

b. That the God -head dwelleth in Christ. ( Col. 2:9, 10; Col. 1: 16).

c. That the Lord Jesus was crucified and resurrected after the third day. Romans 8:11; Matt. 28:16-7; Romans 10:8-9, Acts 4:12 )

d. That repentance is a complete turning away from all sin and its deceitful pleasures and it is required from every sinner before he or she can trully and effectively believe in Jesus with saving faith. ( Proverbs 28:13; Ezekiel 18:21-23; Acts 2:38; Acts 3:19).

e. That water Baptism is essential to our obedience after reconciliation with God. The Baptism is done by immersion in Jesus name as performed by Apostles after the day of Pentecost. ( Acts 2:38; 19:5, Romans 6:3-4)

f. That the last supper was instituted by Jesus Christ that all believers (all members of God´s family) might partake thereof regularly to show the Lords death till He come. (Matt. 26: 26-29), 1 cor. 11:23-30 ; Luke 22:19-20).

g. That the baptism of the Holy Spirit is the endowment of power on high upon the believer. It is the promise of the father and when one receives this ´gift of the Holy Ghost´it is accompanied by the initial evidence of speaking in tongues. (Acts 1: 5-8; Acts 2:1-8; John 1:33; 14:26).

h. That personal evangelism is a God given and ordained ministry for every believer, Jesus commanded and God requires every believer to be compassionate and fruitful soul winner, bringing others to Christ. (Matt. 28:19-20; Mark 16:15, Acts 1:8, Isaiah 52:7, Romans 10:15).

i. That Jesus is coming the second time (second coming). (Matt. 25:31-46, Mark 13:32, 2Thess. 4:16-17).

j. That Hell fire is a place of everlasting punishment where sinners (all who do not have their names in the book of life) will suffer torment for ever and ever. It was prepared originally for the devil and his angels Matt. 25:41, but God extend it to those who forget him and reject Christ will also be cast there because of their sin and neglect of His salvation. ( Matt. 25:46, Luke 16:23, Mark 9:43-47; Rev. 14:10-11, 20:10).

k. The second coming of Jesus Christ includes many events, all of which covers a period of time, the events are RAPTURE (1Cor. 15:15-58; 1 Thes. 4:13-17; 2 Thes. 2:5-7, THE GREAT TRIBULATION (Matt. 24:21-29; Rev. 9:16; Rev. 13); THE MILLENNIUM (Jude 14,15; 2Thes. 1:7-10); THE GREAT WHITE THRONE JUDGEMENT( Dan. 12:2-3, Rev. 20:11-15; 2Peter 3:7-10 ) and the New heaven and earth (Rev. 21:1-7; 2 Peter 3:10-13; Isaiah 65:17, 66:22 )

l. That marriage is binding for life. Monogamy is the uniform teaching of the Bible, polygamy is contrary to God´s perfect will and institution. The bible forbids a believer marrying an unbeliever. Also under the N.T. dispensation, no one has the right to divorce and remarry while the first companion lives. ( Gen. 2:24; Deut. 7:1-4; Joshua 23:11-13; 2Cor. 6:14, Romans 7:2-3). An intending persons for marriage shall pass through a course designed by the church to keep them abreast of what marriage institution is all about. The church reserves the right to and not to join persons who do satisfy the conditions set by the church.
